Our Mission

At ZIND, we’re all about creating unforgettable experiences and sharing the energy of Bollywood fusion dance with passionate dancers like you.

We believe in combining fun, learning, and confidence through the art of Indian dance. By creating, teaching, and performing, we stay dedicated to serving our students and community every week.

ZIND, inspired by the Urdu word Zindagi (meaning "life"), embodies the spirit of living fully and celebrating every moment through dance, bringing energy and excitement to all we do!

SERVICES

CLASSES

Step into one of our in person classes at any of our locations. We have something for all ages from 5 yrs - adults. You don't need any prior dance experience or background. Our instructors will guide you to learn some moves and have fun along the way!

WORKSHOPS

We absolutely love our weekly classes, but we wanted to bring Bollywood dance to the DMV in a way that's all about fun, high energy, and pure freedom. A workshop is an open class every weekend—perfect for anyone looking to get back into dancing without a long-term commitment. Different song, instructor and style every week.

WEDDING SERVICES

Our online library of Bollywood dance tutorials to get you ready for a wedding, sangeet or the next big event! Learn a dance in 15 - 20 min from a professional instructor and share access with family and friends. Need 1:1 lessons or group lessons? We do that too!

If you are a member of the ZIND family, then know that you have a community of cheerleaders who are always rooting for you. Our of instructors, staff members, dance parents or your own team mates, we are a team of dance want you to feel welcomed and at home.

Fun

ZPA is a place of learning while still having FUN doing what you love to do. We ensure that while students are excelling and performing, they are enjoying themselves at the same time. We bring positive energy and hype music while our instructors get to know students on a personal level. ZIND is a place to make friends.

Performing

ZIND Performing Academy provides numerous opportunities for students to get on stage and show off their skills including an annual recital. While it is not mandatory, we believe that performing is the biggest accelerator to a student's growth and confidence.

Culture

We create, teach, and perform the art of Indian dance. In an ever changing world, we want to stay connected to our South Asian culture. Fortunately for us, we are able to keep it alive through music and dance. ZIND also performs at various local cultural events bringing diversity and awareness.

Growth

We encourage each student to embody their new skills, step out of their comfort zones and dance with confidence. Instructors provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback in and out of class. Our name represents our goals for their growth not only in dance, but also as leaders in life.
